Sixteenth-century Europe was a man’s world and powerful voices believed that no woman could govern. At the end of the Tudor era, two queens ruled one island. In this talk, bestselling author and historian Professor Kate Williams tells the fascinating and tragic story of Mary, Queen of Scots through her relationship with her cousin, Elizabeth I.
